The University Women's Club of Vancouver holds this annual fundraiser to support its many scholarship and bursary programs and a number of charity and advocacy groups locally, nationally and internationally. The Club is also responsible for maintaining the stewardship of the grounds and buildings of Hycroft – a designated Heritage House.

*No strollers allowed in the building. Please check it in at the door.

Charitable and Educational Boutiques on the second floor
Support the worthwhile causes of these organizations through purchases of scented candles, sparkling jewellery from around the world, toys and household items. Gifts for all your family and friends are available from the following boutiques:
  • Art Gallery
    All art work and jewellery pieces are for sale. Place your bid on several selected pieces of art in the Silent Auction. Proceeds of the auction go to the Hycroft Heritage Preservation Foundation.
  • Ten Thousand Villages
    Visit Ten Thousand Villages, the 'soul of the marketplace'! We carry fairly traded products from artisans in developing countries. See our unique Christmas ornaments, textiles, musical instruments, toys, gifts and food products. Your purchase will make a difference.
  • UNICEF
    Your purchase of UNICEF cards and gifts and Gift of Magic will help to make a difference in the lives of children worldwide!
  • The Vancouver Aquarium
    The Vancouver Aquarium Gift shop - A Splashing Shopping experience where you will find exquisite, fun, and unique aquatic themes gifts for all ages! Your purchases directly fund this non non-profit: research, education and conservation programs. VanAquaShop.org
  • Silent Auction, Garden Wise, Canada Wilderness
    Canada Wilderness is celebrating their 30th anniversary with wilderness and wildlife calendars and cards along with Taku wild salmon and Siska soaps and oils.
    Garden Wise will be selling Christmas Gift subscription packages that include a one-year subscription to the magazine, a free issue of BCHome magazine, and a plush Christmas gift tag as an added bonus!
  • SEVA
    Seva Canada involved with programs to restore eyesight and prevent blindness in Tibet, Nepal, India, Egypt,Cambodia, Guatemala, Tanzania and eastern Africa. Seva Canada products support our eye-care work. We will be selling calendars, greeting cards, gift of sight cards, ball caps, CD's, T-Shirts, paper blank books, posters and various special treasures.
  • Canadian Women for Women of Afganisatan
    Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan provides jewellery, handmade soaps, silk shawls, dolls and kites direct from our partner projects in Afghanistan. 100% of the proceeds are returned to help fund educational needs such as teachers’ salaries, schools and libraries.
  • 3H Craft Works
    3H Craftworks is a craft therapy program for adults with disabilities. All proceeds from our sales goes back into this unique non profit society. Our Christmas selection ranges from unique tree decorations, tree skirts to toys and gifts for everyone.
  • Children’s Craft Centre
    A creative Christmas activity is available in the General’s room. Here your child can make his or her own gift for a loved one. Only children allowed in this area unless accompanied by a parent. Donations accepted.

The Hycroft Art Gallery offers original paintings and artwork by members at reasonable prices. Place your bid on several unique pieces of art in the Silent Auction.

Artisan’s Village in the Ballroom includes handmade articles by local Artisans. Beautiful, creative items for your shopping list.

On the Main floor, The Christmas Shoppe, hosted by the UWCV, members offers a wide variety of gorgeous decorative items that you can purchase for your home or for Christmas giving. See what is new in home and office Christmas decor for 2009. The UCWV members will be pleased to show you the beautiful wreaths, a wide variety of tree ornaments, gorgeous as well as jolly Christmas characters and animals, sleighs, trains and Christmas balls in every imaginable colour and shape. A feast for the eyes!

Seasonal Room Décor on the Main Floor
The beautifully decorated rooms on the main floor are achieved through the creative efforts of local companies. Be sure to stop into their shops to view their complete line of goods.

Children’s Craft Centre
A creative Christmas activity is available in the General's room on the 2nd floor. Here your child can make his or her own gift for a loved one. Donations accepted. Please note that babysitting services are not available.



Arrangement s have been made with the North Pole for Santa Claus to visit the children and to pose for photos you take with your own camera. Donations go to a charitable cause.
